NATO's Kosovo Force (KFOR) is in the area of operation of the Kosovo Police and is ready to intervene if necessary.

The publication notes that the KFOR mission led by the North Atlantic Alliance condemns the attack on the Kosovo police.

It should be noted that earlier, Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti stated that on September 24, around 3:00 a.m., unknown persons opened fire on Kosovo police officers near the village of Banska in Leposavic municipality in the north of the region. Kosovo President Vyosa Osmani blamed "Serb criminal gangs" for the attack.
