Intelligence believes that Hezbollah militants may carry out attacks on American diplomats inside or outside the United States.

Axar.az reports that "Politiko" newspaper published information about this concerning sources in the Biden administration.

"The armed group supported by Iran may first attack the American armed forces in the Middle East. US intelligence collects intelligence on Hezbollah. This suggests that he is considering attacks on US military or diplomatic personnel. As the tension in the region increases, the possibility of an attack on the US territory also increases," the source said.

It is noted that Hezbollah has an extensive international network that would allow it to use agents to carry out attacks in the United States:

"But other groups in the Middle East do not have such opportunities. In general, an attack on US territory or the American military abroad, as well as its diplomats, would be a blow to the Biden administration. It will also drag the United States back into the Middle East as it tries to focus its national security resources on countering China and Russia."
