As we reported, the left-wing New People's Front is ahead in the second round of the parliamentary elections held in France.
Axar.az reports that NFPis expected to present the new prime minister. The former president of France, Francois Hollande, who was elected as a member of the parliament in the elections held yesterday, denied that he would be a candidate for the prime ministership.
He said that the lack of an absolute majority in the lower house of the newly elected French parliament shows that the political role desired by the parliament will be important, not the personality of the prime minister.
It should be noted that according to the preliminary results, in the second round of the National Assembly (lower house of the parliament) elections held yesterday in France, the New People's Front took the first place, Macron's coalition took the second place, and the right-wing National Union took the 3rd place. None of the political forces managed to get an absolute majority (289 seats).
