The news of Armenia starting to supply Ukraine with Soviet-made weapons has caused quite a stir.

Axar.az reports that this was mentioned in an article by "Fakt" magazine.

According to the information, an agreement has been signed between Armenia and the European Commission. Based on this, Yerevan must send Soviet-made tanks and anti-aircraft missile systems to Kyiv through the Georgian port. The total value of the weapons is said to be 210 million US dollars. It is reported that Armenia will hand over its existing anti-aircraft defense systems and 152 mm artillery installations to Ukraine.

This step is considered one that will endanger Yerevan and the Armenian people.

The magazine writes that despite Ukraine's support for Azerbaijan during the 44-day war, this aid from Yerevan has been met with dissatisfaction by the public.

It is noted that there are no facts proving the accuracy of the circulating information. It is also unclear who spread this information. It is claimed that the information was disseminated by the West to further damage Yerevan's relations with the Kremlin, as it tries to return to the Moscow axis.

The article also mentions that the West has recently taken similar steps in Georgia. As a result, it is trying to regain its weakening influence in the South Caucasus.
