Mobilization in Russia's major cities could create problems for Putin's regime.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by General Ben Hodges, the former commander of U.S. Army Europe.

According to him, sooner or later, Russia will have to start recruiting young people from Moscow and St. Petersburg for the army.

"Russians are trying to maintain the pace of their offensive by forming new reserves," he said.

Hodges believes that if Ukraine can destroy Russia's artillery, command centers, and logistics, Russia's main tactics will lose their effectiveness:

"Logistics, artillery, airbases, and aircraft are what ensure the army's effectiveness. Therefore, if Ukraine can weaken or destroy these key elements, Russia will have to change its tactics."
