According to the 2024 preparation plan, a joint exercise titled "SAT-SAS-2024" is being conducted in Turkey with the participation of the naval forces of Azerbaijan and Turkiye's underwater assault and defense units.

Axar.az informs that according to The Ministry of Defense's Press Service.

It was reported that, during the joint training held at the Aksaz naval base in Marmaris, Turkiye, naval special forces successfully carried out tasks related to the capture of target vessels with high professionalism.

According to the information, in the following days of the exercise, special forces from both countries will perform tasks related to land and sea combat tactics, helicopter insertion techniques, the capture of a mock coastal area, as well as the search for and destruction of unexploded ordnance and naval mines.

The joint exercise will continue until November 29.
