The undersea cables in the Baltic Sea were damaged due to wear and tear, with no "Moscow hand" involved.

Axar.az reports that this statement was made by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova.

"Such incidents occur several hundred times a year. What causes these accidents? Human error during ship anchoring, submarine mishaps, or simply wear and tear. One can look for Moscow's hand in everything, but there are logic, facts, and objective data," the diplomat emphasized.
