German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock and her husband Daniel Holeflash have ended their 17-year marriage.

"There have been rumors about their separation in Berlin for a long time. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Annalena Berbok, and her husband, Daniel Holeflash, have already confirmed it. After 17 years, their marriage ended," it was said.

The couple stated that they did not enter into a new relationship and continued to live together in Potsdam for the sake of their two daughters aged 9 and 13.

The publication also noted that Berbok, who participated in the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) held in Baku, did not have a wedding ring on his finger.
