Turkiye will continue to make payments for gas purchased from Russia through Gazprombank.

Axar.az reports that Turkiye's Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar made this statement.

"After a series of talks with US officials, the country would be allowed to continue making its gas payments via Gazprombank," he said.

It should be noted that at the end of November, the U.S. imposed sanctions on Gazprombank, which handles foreign payments for Russian gas and oil.
