The employees of the Russian FSB (Federal Security Service) have prevented a series of assassination attempts against high-ranking officials of the Ministry of Defense and their family members in Moscow. The assassination plot was carried out by Ukrainian intelligence services.

Axar.az reports that this was announced by the press service of the Russian FSB.

"The Russian Federal Security Service has stopped a series of assassination attempts against high-ranking military officials of the Russian Ministry of Defense, as well as their family members, carried out by Ukrainian intelligence services. As a result of the measures taken, 4 Russian citizens involved in preparing these attacks have been arrested," the statement said.
