PACE’s resolution on the elections in Georgia is essentially an attempt to annul the choice of the Georgian people, which is an interference in internal affairs.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, on the air of the Imedi TV channel.

“No one has the right to annul the will of the Georgian people. We saw precisely such an attempt in PACE. We call on everyone to remain objective and not to cross red lines,” he said.

It should be noted that due to the adoption of a resolution calling on the country’s authorities to hold new parliamentary elections, the Georgian delegation has suspended its activities in PACE.
