The next migration convoy has reached the Ballica village of the Khojaly district, and the keys to the houses have been presented.
Axar.az reports that based on President Ilham Aliyev's instructions and in accordance with the First State Program for the Great Return to the liberated territories, the next migration convoy consisting of families temporarily residing in various regions of the country has been sent to the restored Ballica village in the Khojaly district.
In this phase, 22 families, totaling 94 people, have been resettled in Ballica village. Today, the families who arrived in the village were presented with the keys to their houses.
The key handover ceremony was attended by officials from the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the cities of Khankendi, Aghdara, and Khojaly, as well as representatives of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons and other individuals.
It is noteworthy that all necessary conditions have been created in the restored individual residential houses in Ballica village for the settlement of former internally displaced persons. The village is provided with uninterrupted electricity, natural gas, drinking water, and high-speed internet.
It is also important to note that four migration convoys have arrived in Ballica village so far. A total of 90 families (467 people) have settled in the village.
