The main purpose of the visit to the U.S. is to participate in a summit on religious freedom, where a procedural event is held. A meeting with the U.S. President is not planned. At this moment we don’t have that in our program.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

"However, this is a very important visit. I also consulted with my colleagues, and we concluded that we must go and participate. There are events to which we receive invitations, and some overlap, so unfortunately, we will have to choose which events to attend," Pashinyan said.

It should be noted that Armenian media had reported that during his visit to the U.S., Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had repeatedly requested a meeting with President Donald Trump through the White House administration.
