Pope Francis expressed his gratitude for global efforts towards dialogue, especially in the South Caucasus in his first public appearance in five weeks from the balcony of Rome’s Gemelli Hospital.

Axar.az informs this was reported by the Vatican.

"Pope Francis expressed his gratitude for steps taken toward peace in the South Caucasus, where Armenia and Azerbaijan are moving towards a finalised peace agreement.

“May this be a sign of hope,” he prayed, “that other conflicts, too, may find a path to resolution through dialogue and goodwill.”
