Firefighters are still battling multiple active hotspots in the Jerusalem Hills, with 119 teams and aerial units working to contain the flames.

Axar.az, citing JP, reports that highways have reopened and hospitals resumed operations, though only Mevo Horon residents may return home.

Seventeen firefighters and several civilians have been injured.

Israel has requested international aid, with aircraft arriving from countries including Italy, Spain, France, and Romania.

The IDF and other emergency services are supporting efforts, while arson is being investigated as a possible cause. Despite the fires, barbeques will be allowed on Independence Day with caution.
