Russian President Vladimir Putin is afraid of direct negotiations with me.

Axar.az reports that these words were said by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

He recalled that on March 11, Ukraine fully supported the US proposal for an unconditional ceasefire at a meeting in Saudi Arabia, because Ukraine is trying to stop the war.

At the same time, as the president noted, this proposal has been valid on the negotiating platform for 63 days.

"I have repeatedly emphasized this to President Trump. Putin does not want the war to end, does not want a ceasefire, does not want any negotiations. I do not even mention that he is afraid of direct negotiations with me," Zelensky emphasized.
