No system faults found before An-24 crash in Russia

There were no malfunctions recorded in the systems of the An-24 aircraft belonging to Angara Airlines before it crashed into the ground.

Axar.az informs that the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) reported this information.

“According to preliminary data, no malfunctions were observed in the aircraft’s systems before it crashed,” the statement said.

It should be noted that on July 24, an An-24 passenger plane operated by Angara Airlines crashed while attempting to land at the airport in Tynda, Amur region. There were 49 people on board, including 6 crew members, and all of them perished.

The wreckage was discovered 16 km from Tynda, on a mountain slope, with fragments scattered over a 1-hectare area. Due to the incident, a state of emergency has been declared in the Amur region, along with a three-day mourning period. A criminal investigation has been launched.
