The militarization of NATO member countries is progressing rapidly.

Axar.az reports that Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko stated this.

“Today, NATO countries’ total military spending has reached enormous figures—$1.5 trillion. European countries in the alliance plan to spend $456 billion on military purposes, which means increasing their defense budgets to up to 5% of GDP,” Grushko said.

According to him, all these expenses will have to be covered by taxpayers.
