President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on Friday made a phone cal to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

Axar.az reports that Mohammad Ashraf Ghani congratulated Ilham Aliyev on his landslide victory in the presidential election and wished him success in his presidential activities for the development of Azerbaijan.

President Ilham Aliyev, in turn, expressed his gratitude to the Afghan leader for his attention and congratulations.

During the telephone conversation, the presidents expressed their confidence that relations between the two countries will continue to develop.
