Thanks to the exceptional services of the National Leader of our people, Heydar Aliyev, a unified command was created in the Azerbaijan Army, which is the guarantor of the sovereignty, independence, defense, and security of our republic, and our army was formed as a regular army. and military construction issues were always put forward as a priority issue.

The path of Victory and the development strategy of the Great Leader, which began with liberation, are being successfully continued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev.

The great achievements achieved in increasing the defense power of our republic, the large-scale reforms carried out in the army, the exercises carried out, and the successful large-scale counter-offensive operations carried out against the enemy's provocations further strengthened the determination of the personnel to win. November 8 - Victory Day was written in golden letters in the glorious military history of Azerbaijan.

The declaration of 2025 as the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty" in our country by the relevant Decree of our Head of State is widely celebrated as a significant event in the history of independent statehood of Azerbaijan.

Under the leadership of the victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, as a result of the brilliant Victory won by the Azerbaijan Army in the Patriotic War and the successful combat operations and anti-terrorist measures it carried out, our historical lands that remained under enemy occupation were liberated. Thanks to the decisive and far-sighted policy pursued by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and the strength of our army, the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan were fully ensured. In the territories liberated from occupation, where the State Flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan flutters majestically and proudly, the brave Azerbaijani Army further strengthened its positions and continued to implement reconstruction and reconstruction works at the highest level, making a worthy contribution to the return.

I am sure that you will strengthen your combat and moral-psychological readiness, constantly remaining faithful to the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Military Oath, and the regulations, and further increase your efforts and skills to achieve new successes in your service.

The family members of our martyrs and our fighters who lost their health, war veterans, are always in the spotlight of our state. Thanks to the attention and care of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Mr. Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, important steps are being taken to improve their social and living conditions and address their social concerns.
