The former Armenian MP was killed

Former Armenian MP David Matevosyan was killed in the fighting in Karabakh.

Axar.az reports that Armenian media reported this with reference to his daughter Ermina Matevosyan.

It is said that Matevosyan, a supporter of the first President of Armenia Ter-Petrosyan, was a participant in the First Karabakh War. He was a deputy in 1995-99, and in 2008 was represented in the leadership of Ter-Petrosyan's election headquarters. He was arrested during the post-election protests and sentenced to three years in prison. He was amnestied after serving a year.

He came to fight as a volunteer when the war broke out in Karabakh.
