10,000 Armenians fled their positions - Armenian general

During the Second Karabakh War, 10,000 Armenian servicemen fled their positions.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from ex-commissioner of the Armenian Armed Forces, Major General Levon Stepanyan.

“What should we do? They are criminals. They must be punished. But how do you punish 10,000 people? ” He said.

It should be noted that desertion is seriously discussed in Armenia, and Stepanyan admits that it is impossible to punish them for the second time because of the mass situation.
