The United States will allocate $800 million for the restoration of Ukraine's energy supply due to Russian attacks.
Axar.az reports that this was announced by Ukraine's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Yuliya Svyrydenko, after meeting with U.S. Deputy Secretary of Energy, David Turk.
"During our visit to the U.S., energy was one of the main topics. Together with Deputy Secretary of State David Turk, we discussed the necessary steps for the restoration of Ukraine's energy system," she wrote on the social network X.
The minister noted that more than 50% of the country's energy infrastructure has been damaged due to Russian air strikes.
