A convention was signed between Baku and Tokyo

Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov met with Japanese ambassador to Azerbaijan Vada Junichi.

Axar.az reports that the Minister of Economy emphasized the importance of our country's relations with Japan, the expansion of economic partnership, and drew attention to the opportunities available for the development of cooperation in the fields of industry, energy, including renewable energy, application of new technologies, and others.

Yoshikawa Yuumi, Deputy Parliamentary Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, spoke about the relations between our countries in a video message, and emphasized the importance of the Convention on the Elimination of Double Taxation and Prevention of Tax Evasion, which was signed between Azerbaijan and Japan in relation to income taxes, in expanding economic and trade cooperation.
