The cost of Azerbaijani gas has increased many times

According to the results of 2022, Azerbaijan exported more than 18,965 billion cubic meters of natural gas, which is 5.4 percent or 1.08 billion cubic meters lower than the indicator in 2021.

Axar.az reports that according to the information provided by the State Customs Committee (SCC).

The value of the exported Azerbaijani gas was approximately $14.99 billion, which is more than 2.7 times higher than last year's figure ($5.534 billion) or $9.455 billion.

The share of gas in the total export of the country was 39.29 percent in the mentioned period. It should be noted that in 2021, Azerbaijan exported 20,047 billion cubic meters of natural gas, which is 38 percent or 7,622 billion more than in 2020.

The value of natural gas exports exceeded 5.5 billion dollars, which is 2.5 times higher than in 2020.
