Shock about the Russian budget: a deficit of 4 trillion

A deficit of 4 trillion rubles was created in the state budget of Russia.

Axar.az reports that the MMI Telegram channel reported on this.

"According to the information as of mid-February 2023, since the beginning of the year, the expenses of the Russian budget have reached 4.92 trillion rubles, and the income has reached 951 billion rubles. This means a deficit of almost 4 trillion rubles.

The annual budget deficit plan is 2.9 trillion rubles or 2% of Russia's gross domestic product (GDP). Anton Siluanov, the Minister of Finance of the country, said this earlier.

In January, an average of 100.5 billion rubles was spent per day from the budget, while in February, daily expenses rose to 113 billion rubles," the report said.
