Belarus Reveals Its Goal Regarding Azerbaijan

Belarus and Azerbaijan intend to gradually increase bilateral trade turnover to $1 billion by 2030.

Axar.az these words were stated by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Igor Petrishenko.

According to him, it is planned to assemble not only tractors but also communal, fire extinguishing, and other purpose-built equipment, including Belarus elevators, in Azerbaijan:

"We are planning joint production of pharmaceutical and veterinary drugs, as well as mixed fertilizers from Azerbaijani nitrogen and Belarusian potassium. We will conduct exchange of experience and support the training of specialists."

The Deputy Prime Minister also mentioned the work Belarus will undertake in the Karabakh economic zone:

"One of our main projects is the establishment of an integrated modern agro-industrial city, including the production and processing of agricultural products in the Agdam region. This agro-industrial complex will include the creation of residential and social facilities for its workers and their families. We also plan to build a multi-brand service center to provide services for Belarusian equipment in this area."
