Pezeshkian spoke in Turkish, received a warning

Iran's Guardian Council (Iran's Constitutional Council) was displeased by Masoud Pezeshkian's speech in Turkish in some cases.

Axar.az reports that sources close to Masoud Pezeshkian said this.

According to the Iranian Constitution, official documents and correspondence must be in Persian. Masoud Pezshkian spoke in Turkish several times and said that he is Turkish. The Council of Guardians insisted that his speeches should be in Persian, under the pretext that his talks were considered official because he was a candidate for the presidency," the report said.
