Iran's attack on Israel pushes oil prices higher

Iran's rocket attack on Israel has caused an increase in oil prices in the markets.

Axar.az reports that during trading operations on the ICE London Intercontinental Exchange, the price of the December 2024 contract for Brent crude oil rose by 1.75%, reaching $74.85 per barrel.

Simultaneously, on the NYMEX commodity exchange in New York, the price of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil for export in November of this year also increased by 1.93%, reaching $71.18 per barrel.
