The supply of Azerbaijani gas to Serbia is expected to resume on January 15.

Axar.az reports that an informed source in the energy market on Sunday commented on the suspension of supply due to the technical problem that arose on the "Shah Deniz Alfa" platform.

"Repairs related to the failure of the platform should be completed in the next few days, after which the supply to Serbia can be restored. The supply is expected to resume on January 15," the source said.

It should be noted that gas export to Serbia has been temporarily suspended due to a technical problem in the underwater condensate export line between the "Shahdeniz Alfa" platform and the Sangachal terminal.

Before that, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated that it may take 1-2 months to eliminate technical problems.
