Number of COVID-19 cases across globe up by over 518,000

More than 518,000 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection were registered worldwide in the past day, with the overall number of such cases exceeding 126.89 million, the World Health Organization (WHO) said in its daily bulletin on Monday.

Axar.az reports that this was reported by Russian media.

As of 17:32 Moscow time on March 29, as many as 126,890,540 novel coronavirus cases and 2,778,619 coronavirus-associated deaths were registered across the globe. The number of confirmed cases grew by 518,201 in the past 24 hours and the number of fatalities increased by 8,923.
