Ukrainian troops come under mortar fire in Donbas

Today, Russian-occupation troops have launched three attacks on Ukrainian defenders near Orikhove, Novotoshkivske, and Pisky in Donbas.

Axar.az reports citing Ukrinform.

“Russian-occupation troops opened fire three times up to 12:30 today. According to the information available at the moment, we sustained no losses as a result of the enemy shelling,” Defense Ministry Spokesperson Maksym Prauta said at a briefing.

In Luhansk direction, the enemy fired 120mm mortars from the direction of Holubivske (51km west of Luhansk) on strongholds of the Joint Forces units near Orikhove (57km north-west of Luhansk) and Novotoshkivske (53km west of Luhansk). In Donetsk direction, the invaders were firing hand-held antitank and automatic mounted grenade launchers and small arms on Ukrainian defenders near Pisky (11km north-west of Donetsk) for about 40 minutes.
