Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on the implementation of the project “Azerbaijani-French University”.

According to the order, Azerbaijan’s higher educational institutions involved in the project has been empowered to freely admit students on the basis of the results of the entrance examination held by the public entity – State Examination Center.

In addition, the order granted Azerbaijan’s higher educational institutions involved in the project the right to jointly manage educational programs of French higher education institutions and admit students on fee-based programs in addition to the limited number of students.

The Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to determine the number of students of the Azerbaijani-French University, tuition fees of whose are paid by state, per year, provide material-technical base of higher educational institutions involved in the project and solve financing.
