Today, Iran’s ambassador to Azerbaijan, Mojtaba Damirchilu, met with Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

“During the meeting, the ambassador presented a detailed report on the current state of bilateral relations following the foreign minister’s recent visit to Baku. The minister highlighted his constructive meetings with high-ranking officials of the Republic of Azerbaijan and emphasized that comprehensive relations with Azerbaijan are being steadily strengthened and developed. He noted that the approach of friendly neighborhood is effectively advancing through expanding consultations in economic, transit, political, cultural, and humanitarian fields,” the statement said.
