Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Saturday telephoned his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani, the presidential press service released the news

During the phone talk, President Ilham Aliyev thanked Hassan Rouhani for the hospitality shown to him and his delegation. Azerbaijan’s head of state expressed satisfaction with the visit’s outcomes. The sides noted that a new page of cooperative relations has opened between the two counties.

They also discussed developments prospects of bilateral and regional cooperation.

Head of State Ilham Aliyev invited Hassan Rouhani to make one more visit to Azerbaijan.
