Azerbaijan has appointed a new ambassador to Russia.

Axar.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order regarding this.

Based on the document signed by the head of state, Rahman Sahib oglu Mustafayev has been appointed as Azerbaijan's extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to the Russian Federation.

According to another decree signed by the president, R. Mustafayev has been recalled from his position as Azerbaijan's ambassador to the Netherlands.
