After the terrorist attack on November 13, which resulted in the death of 6 people and wounding of 81 people on Istiklal Avenue, located near Taksim Square in Istanbul, the flow of visitors continues to the platform established in the area where the incident took place.
Axar.az reports that along with the citizens of the country, foreign tourists also come to the area where the terrorist act took place, put carnations on the platform established here, remember the victims of the incident with prayers and tears.
For this purpose, on November 16, various religious leaders of Turkey and the consul generals of 39 countries united and held a "Independence is ours" march from Galatasaray Square to the area where the incident took place.
Speaking at the event, Bayoglu Municipality Chairman Haydar Ali Yıldız expressed his gratitude to everyone who stood by his country during these difficult times.
The representatives of various religious communities participating in the march have once again expressed their condemnation of terrorism.
Consul General of Azerbaijan in Istanbul Narmina Mustafayeva also participated in the event.
