On January 6, the monument of Russian scientist Mikhail Lomonosov was demolished in Dnieper, Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that the information headquarters of Dnieperpetrovsk region has released information about this.

It was reported that the 7.7-meter-high statue weighing more than 30 tons was erected on June 25, 1971.
