Mirzoyan meets EU diplomats to review Armenia–EU relations

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a meeting with the European Union and the heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Armenia from EU member states.

Axar.az reports, citing the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, the significant achievements and positive developments in Armenia–EU partnership in 2025 were welcomed, and discussions were held on priority steps and plans for 2026.

Touching on recent developments in Armenia–EU relations, Mirzoyan noted that about 10 days ago, a new Strategic Agenda for Armenia–EU Partnership was adopted in Brussels.

According to him, the document not only records the accomplishments in bilateral relations but also identifies key areas for deepening cooperation in the future.

Mirzoyan also briefed attendees on recent regional developments, including steps taken by Armenia to normalize relations with neighboring countries.

It should be noted that the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs has described the “EU–Armenia Strategic Agenda for Partnership” signed between the European Union and Armenia as contrary to the peace agenda.
