The United States looks forward to cooperating with Azerbaijan to realize the potential of the South Caucasus.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in a release from the US Embassy regarding the first meeting of the US–Azerbaijan bilateral working group.

“Yesterday, senior officials from the US and Azerbaijani governments met within the framework of the first session of our bilateral working group, established to begin implementing the Memorandum of Understanding signed at President Trump’s historic Peace Summit on August 8. During this meeting, we discussed joint activities under the Memorandum of Understanding on strengthening regional connectivity and trade, economic investments, including artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure, as well as security cooperation. The United States looks forward to cooperating with our valuable strategic partner, Azerbaijan, to advance President Trump’s vision of peace and prosperity and realize the South Caucasus’ rich economic potential,” the release said.
