Erdogan condemns attack attempt in call with Trump

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has held a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump.

Axar.az reports that President Erdogan conveyed his best wishes to President Trump following the attempted attack at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington.

President Erdogan described the incident as a despicable act against democracy and press freedom and wished a speedy recovery to the injured security service officer.
