José Eliton de Figuerêdo Junior Governor of the State of Goiás of Brazilia José Eliton de Figuerêdo Junior has sent a congratulatory letter on the occasion of 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations and 100th anniversary of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic.

The letter reads:

“Mr. Ambassador,

It is with great joy that I greet the Republic of Azerbaijan for the celebration of 100 years of republic, installed since May 28th, 1918, whose time translates into the consolidation of democratic values and rich to all society that intends to be fair and solitary.

In the same way, I congratulate for the celebration of 25 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations with Brazil, an opportunity in which the State of Goiás was honored with an exhibition of photos of your country, sharing with the people of Goiás a little of your history, customs and the culture in general. Thank you for your generosity.

May many more years come and that the ties of friendship and respect existing between the State of Goias and the Republic of Azerbaijan will be strengthened in an increasing way, extending our friendship to the entire Azerbaijani population.”
