Deployment of Scandinavian peacekeepers to Karabakh

The US proposal to deploy Scandinavian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh must be agreed with the parties to the conflict.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andriy Rudenko.

"Americans need to be asked where they got this idea from. The parameters of all possible mechanisms must be agreed with the parties to the conflict," he said.

Earlier, US National Security Adviser Robert O'Brien proposed the deployment of Scandinavian peacekeepers in Karabakh.
