On December 30, 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, received the employees of our embassy in France, who were declared persona non grata by the French Republic on December 27 without any reason.

Axar.az was informed about this by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov thanked the embassy staff for their efficient diplomatic service.

It was stated that this unreasonable step taken by France is the next blow to the current bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and France by the said country.

It was noted that the cause of the tension prevailing in bilateral relations is the French side, which took unjustified steps against our country.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov wished the embassy employees success in their further diplomatic activities.
