Azerbaijan offers condolences to Iran after explosion

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed condolences to Iran regarding the explosion at a coal mine in the city of Tabas, South Khorasan province.

Axar.az reports that this was shared on the ministry's X account.

“We extend our heartfelt condolences to the people and government of Iran, and to the families of those who lost their lives in the explosion at the coal mine in Khorasan province. We hope for the swift recovery of the injured and for the prompt resolution of the consequences of this tragic incident,” the statement read.
