At the invitation of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, the Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Turkiye, Yashar Guler, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Army General Metin Gurak, Commander of the Naval Forces, Admiral Ercument Tatlıoğlu, Commander of the Ground Forces, Army General Selchuk Bayraktaroglu, and Commander of the Air Forces, Army General Ziya Cemal Kadıoglu have arrived in Baku to participate in the 5th Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition (ADEX).

Axar.az reports that according to the press service of the Ministry of Defense, the Turkish delegation was welcomed at Heydar Aliyev International Airport by the First Deputy Minister of Defense, Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev, and other senior officials of the ministry.

During the Turkish delegation's visit to Baku, meetings are planned to discuss the prospects for further expanding military cooperation between Azerbaijan and the brotherly country.
