President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

On the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia—Kingdom Day—I sincerely congratulate you and, through you, all your people, and extend my heartfelt wishes.

Azerbaijan attaches special importance to its relations with Saudi Arabia, which shares common religious and cultural roots. The current level of our intergovernmental relations is strengthened by the deep affection, respect, and trust that our brotherly peoples have for each other. I am pleased that our ties, stemming from this unwavering will, have developed comprehensively over the years to reach their present level. I would like to highlight your personal contribution to the strengthening of Azerbaijan-Saudi Arabia relations.

The steadfast support and fair position of Saudi Arabia regarding Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, sovereignty, and the inviolability of its internationally recognized borders will never be forgotten by the people of Azerbaijan.
