The new Secretary General of Hezbollah, Naim Qassem, made his first televised address as the organization's leader on Wednesday.

Axar.az reports that during his speech, N. Qassem announced his intention to continue the path of the previous leader of the institution, Hasan Nasrullah.

He also touched on the drone attack on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's house in Caesarea:

"Netanyahu survived this time, maybe his time has not yet come. My agenda is to follow Nasrullah's agenda in all aspects. We will continue our war plan. We are not fighting on behalf of anyone or for someone's project, we are fighting for Lebanon. "Iran supports our project and does not demand anything from us."

Qasim remembered the former leaders of Hezbollah, Hasan Nasrullah and Hashim Safieddin, and the former head of Hamas, Yahya Sinwar, who were killed as a result of Israeli strikes in September and October.

"Sinwar is a symbol of heroism and resistance for the free people of Palestine and the world, he died fighting until his last breath - he was a tenacious, brave, loyal, righteous, honorable and free man."

He stressed that Hezbollah will continue its support to Hamas and will fight the threat posed by Israel to the entire region.

The Hezbollah leader criticized countries that support Israel, including the United States and Europe.
