The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, has commented on the absence of some world leaders in COP29.

Axar.az repots that in his remarks to journalists, the minister stated that more than 80 heads of state and government from various countries have participated in COP29 so far.

"There are 198 parties to the Convention. With a few exceptions, almost all of them are represented here in Baku. They are currently engaged in this issue. As for whether any particular leader is attending or not, from Azerbaijan's perspective, our door is open to everyone. We would be pleased to see each of them at the conference. We should focus only on the success of the Conference," the minister added.
