The president of Spain's "Barcelona" club, Joan Laporta, is coming to Baku.

Axar.az reports that Laporta will participate in the 29th session of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) in Baku.

Laporta's visit is scheduled for November 16.

It should be noted that COP29 is being held in Baku from November 11 to 22.

It is also worth mentioning that during Laporta's leadership from 2003 to 2010, "Barcelona" won four La Liga titles, two Champions League titles, and a total of 12 trophies. In 2009, "Barcelona" won six trophies in one year, setting a record.

Laporta was re-elected as president of "Barcelona" on March 7, 2021.
